Protected against overheating

This Victron 7 Amp Battery Charger can be used in a hot and dirty environment such as a machine room, so ambient temperature is not a concern. The output current will reduce as temperature increases up to 60 Degrees C, and the charger will not fail.

Automatic three stage charging

Once the absorption voltage has been reached in the battery, the Victron 7 Amp 12 Volt Battery charger will switch to float charge, after the charge current has reduced to a low break point current, or after a 20 hour absorption period. The battery is therefore effectively protected against overcharging and can remain permanently connected to the charger.

Two LED’s for status indication:

Yellow LED: battery being charged

Green LED: float charge, the battery is charged
