This includes output voltage and frequency, over and under voltage settings and programming the relay. This relay can for example be used to signal several alarm conditions, or to start a generator. The inverters can also be connected to VENet, the new power control network of Victron Energy, or to other computerised monitoring and control systems.

Knowing the difference between HID and Xenon Gas Discharge (XGD)

When it comes to Xenon lamps these are classed as a special type of HID due to a few factors. This type of thermostat offers (3) three huge advantages over the old fashioned style of mechanical thermostat:

Firstly the LED constantly displays the inside temperature. Finally mechanical thermostats are a type of pressure switch and are therefore sensitive to both cold and heat. This means that as the temperature of the day changes, the setting on the dial or knob may need to be adjusted to be able to maintain a constant temperature inside the cabinet. A digital control does not suffer from this problem. You simply set it and forget it.
