The Majestic L220DS 12V LED TV has been specifically engineered using the latest state-of-the-art-technology to handle the marine and RV environment. Power Efficiency: The Majestic L220DS draws 1.6 Amp @ 12V which is only 19.2 Watt of power while watching TV. The Majestic L220DS proves that clever design really can be energy efficient. When you compare this low power consumption of 12 Watts to an ordinary 100 Watt light bulb, you can operate 5 Majestic 22" LED TV’s for the same amount of energy and that’s one of many reasons why Majestic is a global leader in the 12 Volt entertainment industry.

USB Port: The USB input provides two functions, one as a Multi Media input so you can simply plug in your portable hard drive with all your movies and music and the TV will access all your files and playback whatever you choose. The second and very important feature is PVR, Personal Video Recording. This allows you to put in a USB (which the TV will need to format) and then when you are watching TV you can select record and the TV will record your movie or TV station to your USB device to allow you to play back at any later date. The PVR function is only available for DVB-T Freeview and not for Satellite.

Voltage Range: The Majestic range of LED TV's are designed to easily handle flexible voltage ranges from 9V to 16V DC. The TV will exceed these limits for a short period of time. TV Tuner: HD Digital DVB-S and DVB-T TV Tuners built into the Majestic TV allows you to be able to select which system to you want to watch. The DVB-S is the Satellite Tuner so you no longer need a decoder box for Free Transmissions (New Zealand), and the Majestic engineers also added a CI Slot for those that want to adapt a CAM for pay TV. The DVB-T HD tuner is for Digital TV for those that do not have satellite but want to get digital TV signal using their roof mount TV antenna. Weight: The physical design of the L220DS is to be able to withstand the harsh Outback and tough Marine environment. Weighing only 4.7Kg allows this TV to be mounted in almost any location without stressing the surface and with a 75x75mm Vesa hole spacing this TV can be mounted in various different locations using any of the Majestic brackets, from the LA7C simple wall bracket, to the ARM2502B swing arm with locking pin. Reception: The most important factor in being able to recieve TV signal is the TV Tuner. Most companies do not invest the time or money to enhance the TV tuner because in most cases the TV tuner is connected to a cable system with a strong signal level. However in boats and RV's Digital TV reception is all they have access to (unless they have satellite installed).
